In order to obtain the best quality photographic prints from your desktop printer it is essential that you use a fully colour managed workflow. This begins with calibrating your monitor, ideally with a hardware solution such as the devices offered by companies such as Xrite and Datacolor, and then using the correct ICC profile for the media and printer you intend to use to ensure the end result is as close as possible to your screen. I can offer advice on every aspect of the workflow from correct calibration settings for your monitor through to how to produce accurate targets from which I can create your custom ICC profile for printing and how to use the resulting profiles.

The 288 patch target prints on 1 sheet of A4 and is ideal if you are new to using custom profiles or are testing out a new paper for your own use. I have produced a multitude of profiles with this sample for testing out new papers with my Epson 4900 and it produces an excellent profile suitable for users wishing to make the most of sample packs of papers for which they have no profile. This is our basic profiling package.
The 918 patch target prints on 2 sheets of A4 and is more suited to those who want more a more refined profile which will allow more accurate reproduction of colours closer to the limits of what your chosen ink+paper combination can achieve. It may also work better for users of older devices which benefit from a profile produced with more patches. This is our standard and recommended profiling package for most users.
The 1728 patch target prints on 3 sheets of A4 and is suited both to those who seek the best ICC profile they can get for their chosen media and also those with slightly older devices that may not reproduce an outstanding print with the more basic options. This is our Premium service for those who want exhibition quality results.
Please download the target files of your choice and follow the full instructions before sending us the completed order form along with the printed target(s) for us to produce your custom ICC profile.
All of the profiles require you to first ascertain the correct media settings for your printer, ink and paper combination. Full instructions for this process can be found in the Guides section of this website.
